About Midlife Fit Club | Fitness For Men Over 40
At 51 I was 25 pounds overweight, drinking heavily every night, working from home, and completely out of structure. I decided to quit drinking, start eating real food, and use my lunch breaks to train. Six months later I was in the best shape of my adult life. That became the foundation for Midlife Fit Club.
I'm Jeff Sutherland, now an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and functional kettlebell trainer, helping men in midlife get lean, strong, and athletic again with simple workouts and common sense nutrition.
At 54, I train to stay strong, mobile, and athletic for real life. I don't chase trends. I focus on old school strength training, intentional movement, consistency, and nutrition that fits real life because it works.
How I Train
My training is built around kettlebells, dumbbells, and bodyweight. Functional movements that carry over into real life. Picking things up, pushing, pulling, carrying. Strength that keeps your joints healthy, your body moving well, and your confidence high. The kind of training that makes you feel capable and athletic again at 45, 50, or 55. Not just strong in a gym.
